CHINA, visiting Xi’an and Nanjing in 1986 (2)

Sequel to the previous clip. Visits to pagodas, temples, pavilions in Nanjing, before known as Nanking. It is the capital of Jiangsu province in eastern China and of Xi’an, the capital of Shaanxi province, the starting point of the Silk Road and home to the Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.[1] Its previous name was Chang’an . Correction: viewers reminded me that the Goose temple is in Xian instead of Nanjing. The movie also shows Shanxi museum which is also in Xian, followed by Huaqing hot springs, followed by Xi’an bell tower and drum tower.
