原名史尼育唔的台灣阿美族原住民李光輝，日本名為中村輝夫，在二次大戰期間入選了日軍高砂族的「陸軍特別志願兵」接受特種作戰訓練合格，隨後離鄉背井，在印尼摩羅泰島駐守並參與戰役，被日軍編入「輝第2遊擊隊」。 中村輝夫在叢林游擊戰中與部隊失聯，獨自藏匿叢林赤身野外求生渡過31年死守到底，當他在 1974年12月被發現時，不知道戰爭已結束，日本已投降。 中村輝夫是戰後最晚被發現的殘留日本兵，這位「最後的帝國軍人」在獲得日本政府的軍階及補償後，1975年1月8日搭乘華航班機返台。中村輝夫以李光輝的新名字新身份回到故鄉時，受到盛大的歡迎場面，媒體競相報導。回到台東故里四年後，因肺癌於1979年6月病逝，享年59歲。 source
