高如星，本土作曲家，生于1929，1971年被迫害致死。1929年出生在晋西北的兴县，兴县是革命老区，是种地用镢掏、不长庄稼光长草的穷地方。令人惊奇的是，在那块贫瘠的土地上，蕴含着丰富的民歌资源。高如星从小就会唱很多民歌，他不仅记得民歌的歌词，还记得同一首歌词几种不同的音调，几种不同的唱法。高如星在八一厂工作勤奋，几年中他写了《柳堡的故事》、《江山多娇》、《回民支队》、《野火春风斗古城》等20多部电影音乐。《九九艳阳天》是他24岁写的《柳堡的故事》的插曲，此歌一出现到处传唱 source
