Ruby mining in old Burma/Myanmar

An old Pathé film of nearly a century ago shows ruby mining in Northern Burma (Myanmar) in the ‘Valley of the rubies’, also called Mogok Stone tract. About 90% of the world’s rubies come from Myanmar.
